An “earworm”is a song that gets stuck in your head. You hear or sometimes just think about a song and lyrics and melody haunt you through the day. Sometimes an earworm will drive you crazy…sometimes it’s just pleasant background music that only you can hear.
Today’s musical trivia on the local “oldies” radio channel planted an earworm in my mind. The trivia was that on this date in 1968 the musical Hair opened on Broadway. Today my mental sound track is going to be The Age of Aquarius…Let the Sunshine In. It could be worst.
